We're about image making in all its forms

You don’t need expensive equipment to join Bungay Camera Club.  You can take your photographs on a phone, a point-and-shoot camera, a DSLR or any other type of photography device.  All you need is an enthusiasm for making images, for sharing and discussing them with others, and for improving your own photography skills (with our help, if you need it).

Our members range from teenagers to retired seniors.  We all share our enjoyment of image composition, cameracraft, computer techniques and going head-to-head in a few fun competitions!
We're a friendly bunch, always ready to welcome new members to the club, and we have a "try before you buy" policy.

You can attend two meetings free of charge before you decide to join us (for a very modest membership fee).  If you'd like to come along and meet us, please use our CONTACT page on this website to let us know beforehand.  You'll be very welcome.

We meet twice a month at Broome Village Hall.  You can find all the details of how we operate on our ABOUT page.

CLUB EVENTS

'Vintage' Competition

Our competition on the theme 'Vintage' was held on the 10th April, judged by Gill Adams. The contest attracted a wide range of interesting and imaginative interpretations of the theme.

Special congratulations to club member Jackie Moore who achieved top marks in all three categories - colour print, monochrome print and projected image!

Andy Wilson ARPS

We're delighted to report that club member and Competitions Secretary, Andy Wilson, has been appointed an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society.

To gain this distinction, Andy submitted a panel of 15 meticulously created images for assessment by the RPS, in the Fine Art category.
